🎵 Song Requests
Fans pay to request songs. The money is held until you mark it played — so you only get paid for songs you actually perform.
How it works
- Fan visits your request page at
vibesnearby.live/song-request.php?slug=your-slug
- They enter the song title, original artist, a dedication, and an amount ($5 minimum)
- They pay via Stripe — payment held in escrow
- You see the request in Dashboard → 🎵 Song Requests, sorted by amount (highest first)
- You play the song → click ✅ Played → payment released to your wallet
- Or click ❌ Decline → fan is refunded automatically
During a live show
The request queue also shows on your event page and inside your VibéSpace — fans can see what's been requested and how much each request is worth. Higher amounts show at the top, which naturally encourages fans to tip more to jump the queue.
⚠️ Important: Only mark a request as Played after you've actually performed it. The payment releases to your wallet when you click Played.
💡 Tip: Announce song requests from the stage: "You can pay to request a song — link in my bio or scan the QR code". Even $1 extra per request adds up over a full show.
