👍 Ratings
Fans can rate artists after a show ends. Ratings are thumbs up or thumbs down — simple, fast, and abuse-resistant.
How ratings work
- The rating buttons (👍 👎) appear on each artist's lineup card after the event ends
- Each fan can only rate each artist once per event — logged-in users by account, guests by session
- Ratings accumulate on the artist's profile over time across all events
- No negative reviews, no text — just aggregate thumbs up/down counts
Where ratings show
- Event page — after the event ends, each lineup slot shows the current thumbs up count
- Artist profile — shows total 👍 and 👎 counts and total number of ratings in the stats row
As an artist — what to know
You can't see who rated you or control your ratings. The aggregate score builds over time across every event you perform at. The best way to improve your rating is simply to put on a great show — fans who tip and request songs are already engaged and more likely to rate positively.
💡 Tip: Ratings only appear after the event status changes to "completed". If you forget to end your event, the cleanup cron will do it automatically 2 hours after your end time — at which point ratings open.
As a promoter — what to know
You can see each artist's aggregate rating when browsing artist profiles. This is useful when deciding who to book for future events — artists with strong ratings from previous shows are a safer bet for your audience.
