When you register or use VibesNearby Live we collect: your name and email address; artist profile information you choose to provide (bio, photo, genres, city, social links); payment information — processed entirely by Stripe, we never store card numbers or bank details on our servers; IP address and browser/device type for security and analytics; and referral codes when you arrive via an affiliate link.
We use your information to: operate your account and process transactions; send transactional emails (ticket confirmations, payout notifications, account alerts); send optional notifications you subscribe to (push notifications for artists you follow); improve the platform and detect fraud; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising targeting.
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Your card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure interface and are governed by Stripe's privacy policy. We receive only a transaction confirmation and the last 4 digits of your card for display purposes.
We use a PHP session cookie (expires when you close your browser) to keep you logged in. A referral cookie (90-day expiry) is set when you arrive via an affiliate link. Push notification subscriptions are stored in your browser with your permission and can be revoked at any time via browser settings. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
We share data only as necessary to operate the service: with Stripe for payment processing; with our email provider to send transactional emails; and with law enforcement when required by law. Artist profile information you make public (name, bio, photo, genre, city) is visible to all visitors.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are kept for 7 years for tax and legal compliance. If you delete your account, personal information is removed within 30 days except where retention is required by law.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@vibesnearby.live. Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You may opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in any email.
We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Access to production data is limited to authorized personnel. We cannot guarantee absolute security of internet transmission — use the platform at your own risk.
VibesNearby Live is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users.
